The SIP 8″ x 2″ Bench Grinder / Linisher is a dual process metalwork machine ideal for grinding, shaping and smoothing metal workpieces. It is also suitable for sharpening tools and perfect for ferrous metals including mild and tool steel, copper and brass.

This highly versatile machine features a durable grinding wheel and linisher belt with an adjustable LED work light for greater precision and visibility.

• POWERFUL INDUCTION MOTOR (S1 370W & S2 550W 10MIN): Delivers a high-powered 2980rpm for outstanding application use. Quality bearings and machined shafts ensure reliable and long life performance.
• GRINDING WHEEL (⌀ 200mm x 16mm x ⌀ 20mm): Supplied with hard-wearing abrasive grinding wheel for long life use. Easy to remove and replace wheel, helping to reduce workshop downtime. Fitted with tool rest to help maintain correct angle and position of the workpiece. An eye shield, stone guard and spark arrestor ensure greater user safety.
• LINISHER BELT (710mm x 50mm): Supplied with aluminium oxide linisher belt for ferrous metals including mild steel and tool steels, plus copper and brass. Linisher belt can be easily replaced using the quick-release cover and internal pulley. Fitted with tool rest to help maintain correct angle and position of the workpiece. Features a work table deflector to direct debris away from the work area.
• LED WORK LIGHT: Adjustable work light offers greater precision and visibility.
• ENHANCED COOLING: Effective forced air cooling maximises performance as the machine draws air to the motor via base panel inlets.
• ROBUST CAST IRON BASE: Heavy-duty casing and fixed rubber feet reduce vibration when the machine is in operation. 4 locking holes allow for workbench mounting as a permanent fixture. Includes water tray for cooling hot materials.
