Description

The SIP 4″ Swivel Machine Vice enables simple horizontal 0° to 360° rotation, meaning workpieces do not need to be unclamped to be repositioned. This helps to reduce the set-up time required when machining, maintains drilling accuracy and improves tool access.

Offering maximum versatility in professional metalworking and fabrication, this vice is compatible with the SIP F25-GB 8-Speed (01719), SIP F32-ID Vari-Speed (01720) and SIP F40-IDA Vari-Speed (01721) Industrial Floor Pillar Drills.

Applications & uses: Ideal for professional metalwork and fabrication workshops. Ideal for drilling ferrous and non-ferrous metals including mild steel, aluminium, copper, brass, stainless steel, cast iron and wrought iron. Built with a robust grey cast iron machine vice body, plus quenched and tempered structural steel jaws for outstanding durability and secure clamping. The jaw is fixed to the vice body, allowing perpendicularity and parallelism within 0.05mm/100mm.
• ROTATING SWIVEL BASE FOR INCREASED FLEXIBILITY WHEN POSITIONING WORKPIECES: Mounted on a durable swivel base that allows unrestricted 0° to 360° rotation of a workpiece to the desired angle without need to unclamp it. This function ensures high versatility and, because pieces do not need to be unclamped, maintains accuracy during complex drilling. Specific angles can be set using the angle gauge built into the swivel base.
