The SIP Industrial F32-ID Vari-Speed 2.2kW 400v Floor Pillar Drill is a heavy-duty pillar drill specifically designed for professional metalwork and fabrication workshops.

Featuring a variable frequency drive inverter transmission, the drill delivers high torque output across a consistent 65rpm – 2000rpm spindle speed for powerful and precise drilling of up to max. ⌀ 32mm. A tapping function allows threading of high-quality screw holes up to max. ⌀ 19mm.

Engineered for demanding production environments, this adjustable and heavy-duty drill also features enhanced safety features to protect operators.

• VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE INVERTER TRANSMISSION ENSURES ALL POWER IS TRANSFERRED FROM MOTOR TO SPINDLE FOR HIGH TORQUE DRILLING: Easy-to-operate infinitely variable dial on the headstock allows users full control of the 65rpm – 200rpm drilling speed, meaning spindle speed can be set to suit the material. Inverter drive transmission eliminates manual pulley speed changes, allowing quicker job set-up and changeovers. This helps to reduce downtime and boosts productivity. Heavy-duty configuration with robust drill chuck and MT3 (Morse Taper 3) will withstand forces and vibration of professional drilling and maintain operator safety. Tapping functionality produces high-quality screw thread up to ⌀ 19mm, ensuring strong and reliable connection for fasteners that won’t crossthread. Recirculating coolant system maintains optimal conditions by reducing heat generated in the workpiece and prevents the drill dulling or breaking. A depth stop is fitted to eliminate guesswork and ensures consistent holes of the same depth during repetitive drilling tasks.

The baseplate should be anchored to the floor. A large height-adjustable drill press table offers versatility when handling different thicknesses and heights. It rotates left to right for added clearance for longer workpieces. The base drill table also enables drilling of taller workpieces, assemblies and fabrications. The height-adjustable drill head also offers further flexibility and helps users reach optimal height. Chrome steel drill feed handle ensures operators can safely control the descent of the drill bit.
• INTEGRATED ENHANCED SAFETY FEATURES DESIGNED TO ACTIVELY PROTECT OPERATORS FOR SECURE WORKING ENVIRONMENT: For added safety, a protective chuck guard shields users from swarf and debris. It also disables the drill when opened. A low voltage (24v) control circuit minimises electric shock which limits harm to machine operators. An interlocking safety switch prevents the drill from running when headstock covers are opened.
