The SIP 5.5″ Quick Lock Machine Vice enables workpieces to be secured quickly and efficiently when machining in professional metalwork and fabrication.

It easily slides into position against the workpiece to boost efficiency by reducing set-up time required when machining or during changeovers. The slotted base helps to maintain drilling accuracy and safety, and can be secured to the drill press table for added stability.

Compatible with the SIP F25-GB 8-Speed (01719), SIP F32-ID Vari-Speed (01720) and SIP F40-IDA Vari-Speed (01721) Industrial Floor Pillar Drills.

Applications & uses: Ideal for professional metalwork and fabrication workshops. Ideal for drilling ferrous and non-ferrous metals including mild steel, aluminium, copper, brass, stainless steel, cast iron and wrought iron. Metal Fabrication: drilling holes in steel plates and box sections. General Engineering: creating precise holes for bolts, pins and shafts in various metal components. Quick Lock functionality offers speedy clamping and unclamping that allows the vice jaw to be quickly slid into position against the workpiece. Built with a robust grey cast iron machine vice body, plus quenched and tempered structural steel jaws for outstanding durability and secure clamping. The jaw is fixed to the vice body, allowing perpendicularity and parallelism within 0.05mm/100mm.
